Borough of Bethel Park
The Borough of Bethel Park is eight miles south of Pittsburgh and host to a diverse variety of housing, shopping and transportation needs. The borough’s name is most likely taken from a meeting house. Bethel Park was incorporated in 1949 and became a home rule municipality in 1978.
Accessible public transportation is another hallmark of Bethel Park. The Port Authority Transit light rail has two lines that serve parts of Bethel Park as well as a free Park and Ride lot.
